A well-established commercial law firm is seeking a driven legal support professional to join its property team. This role is suited to career legal support professionals rather than students.

The Role
You will support a busy property team with a strong focus on off-the-plan developments. This role offers hands-on exposure, close mentoring, and a clear pathway to rapidly progress into managing your own matters as your capability develops.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing and processing contracts and related documentation

Managing file administration, including opening, maintaining and closing files
-
Conducting property searches and reviewing results
-
Handling deposits, trust transactions and record-keeping
-
Assisting with subdivision and development matters
-
Preparing files for settlement, including adjustment statements and online settlement platforms
-
Coordinating post-settlement requirements and documentation
-
Monitoring invoices and supporting file archiving processes
About you
-
2–3 years’ experience in a property or conveyancing-focused role
-
Exposure to off-the-plan transactions is highly regarded
-
Solid understanding of property documentation (titles, easements, covenants, subdivisions)
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
-
Confident drafting and communication skills
-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
-
Familiarity with industry systems and digital conveyancing platforms
-
Proactive mindset with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
