Responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, contracts, systems administration, and all other operational HR duties.

About The Opportunity 

An award-winning national law firm based in Melbourne CBD is seeking an experienced HR professional to join the team in a hands-on operational capacity. This role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employment contracts and HR systems administration.

Working closely with the Group Managing Partner, this is an excellent opportunity for a capable HR operator who thrives in a professional services environment and enjoys being the central point of coordination for people-related processes.

Key Duties

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes

  • Administer and maintain HR systems

  • Prepare, issue and administer employment contracts 

  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day operational HR queries 

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding to ensure a seamless employee experience

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all documentation is completed and stored appropriately

About You

You will have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a HR role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment

  • Working knowledge of the Legal Services Award

  • Confident working autonomously with minimal supervision

  • Able to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Mandarin speaking (highly desirable, not essential)
