The Opportunity

This rare opportunity has arisen within this Global Logistics Technologies Company with over 20 sites across the globe, revenues over 3 billion, and over 9000 employees globally across Australia, Europe, and America, and listed on an International Stock Exchange. The company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel (Workplace Relations) who will get the amazing opportunity to work on quality employee relations and some industrial relations matters and support and mentor two junior lawyers. 

You will be working on an interesting mix of matters, which may include employment contracts, terminations, restraint of trade issues, and advice relating to enterprise bargaining agreements.

On Offer 

On offer is:

  • The opportunity to join a fantastic People & Culture team and support the team on very interesting Employment Relation matters and also work directly with internal and external stakeholders of the company;
  • To coach and mentor two lawyers in the Workplace Relations team on contracts, policies, and employment-related matters; and
  • The availability to work Part-Time (this can be two or three days, or spread across a five-day week) ongoing, from home with flexible arrangements to work alternate hours suited to your schedule;
  • Interesting challenging workplace relations matters; and
  • Salary up to $200k package FTE.

The Ideal Candidate 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years experience in employment relations or industrial relations as a Lawyer;
  • Must have an unrestricted practising certificate;
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding a team will be highly regarded;
  • An understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and awards.
