Join a growing Owners Corporation practice working across litigation, governance, building defects and insurance matters, with autonomy & flexibility

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate with experience in Owners Corporation and/or strata law to join a growing specialist practice in Melbourne.

This is an opportunity to work across a genuinely interesting mix of Owners Corporation disputes, property damage, building defects, governance issues and insurance-related matters, rather than being confined to one particular area of practice.

You will act for Owners Corporations, strata insurers, strata managers and committees, providing both litigation and advisory support across a broad range of matters.

On Offer

  • A broad and varied Owners Corporation practice, covering both litigation and advisory work
  • Exposure to property damage, water ingress, building defects, cladding, governance disputes and insurance claims
  • The opportunity to advise strata insurers on litigation and coverage exposure
  • The opportunity to further develop your profile and network within the insurance industry
  • A collaborative and down-to-earth team environment
  • Flexible working arrangements and a genuine focus on work-life balance
  • Excellent CBD offices with modern facilities
  • A strong platform for long-term career development and progression

About You

You will ideally have 3+ years’ PAE and experience in Owners Corporation, strata or related property litigation.

You may be an experienced Owners Corporation lawyer looking to take the next step, or a strong litigator with relevant exposure who is keen to specialise further in this area.
